General Service Training enrollment is limited to 12 people per class and is on a first-come-first-served basis. It would be prudent to submit your registration as soon as you can in order to be assured of a place in class. Exceptions will not be made.
The Standard class will cover: preventative maintenance procedures, basic adjustments, component terminology, camera systems, Skyvision, Skylight overview, table hydraulic system overview and operation theory along with troubleshooting, and new this year we will offer hands on troubleshooting to hospital personnel that attend the standard class. It would be beneficial for any technician who works on Skytron equipment.
The Advanced class (open to Distributors only) will cover: in depth instructor guided troubleshooting covering the replacement of the Trendeleburg o-rings, brake cylinders, mini valve removal and replacement, 3600B Kidney cylinder bleeding procedure demonstration, light fixture installation according to manufacturers specifications, light fixture radial arm bearing replacement, boom and light mounting structure criteria, medical gas system identification including the installation process for the gas riser tubes according to NFPA guidelines, boom fixture installation including power height adjustable arm and spring arm installation.
The advanced class is for Skytron Distributors only. You must attend the standard series of classes prior to enrolling in the advanced series. All Distributors who have been to the standard classes within the last two years and who hold a current certificate qualify to attend the advanced classes.
As classes tend to fill up quickly, it is in your best interest to enroll as soon as you can.
The standard class will start at 9:00 am sharp and end at 5:00 pm. Students will be picked up from the hotel by Skytron at 8:45 sharp. The advanced class will start at 8:30 am sharp and end at 5:00 pm. Students will be picked up from the hotel at 8:15 am sharp. All students must attend the complete course to receive a certificate. Please arrange air travel accordingly.

INFORMATION FOR HOSPITAL/ DEALER SERVICE TRAINING
If you would like to sponsor someone for enrollment, complete the enrollment forms on Skynet and click ‘submit’ before the deadline. All enrollments will be confirmed via email or fax. Class size is limited. Please do not arrange for air fare prior to receipt of written or emailed confirmation of enrollment. Classes will be canceled for low enrollment.
Standard service training for lights, tables and booms is available for hospital employees and distributor service technicians only, as sponsored by you, the Skytron distributor. Skytron recognizes this service training as having a value of $2,000, which we feel, is worth addressing with your customers as a value-added benefit since there is no true tuition charge.
Skytron provides service literature, local transportation to and from our facility and lunch each day. Skytron will host a dinner outing on Wednesday evening. Hospital personnel are responsible for meals, lodging expenses and transportation to and from Grand Rapids. The Grand Rapids Hilton provides complimentary breakfast buffet and airport shuttle service. Skytron has a block of rooms reserved at a discounted rate of $96.00 per night (plus taxes). Skytron will make necessary hotel reservations. We will make hotel reservations for hospital personnel, but they will be responsible for all charges.
Skytron will pay for and make hotel reservations for Skytron distributors only. We will not pay for incidentals such as phone calls, movies, etc. The hotel provides airport shuttle service and Skytron will provide local transportation and lunch each day.
Third-party service personnel are not eligible to attend unless the Distributor has a signed contract with them to be their service provider and has provided Skytron with a copy of it. Other requirements apply for third-party personnel. A link to the form can be found on the enrollment page of Skynet. Please submit your enrollment form electronically and send a signed copy of the 3rd party contract via fax to: 616-656-6413, attention: Dale Tallady. Enrollment of 3rd party personnel will not be confirmed until a signed copy of the contract has been received.
Class size is limited to 18 people and Skytron reserves the right to cancel the seminar if enrollment is minimal.
